It's no secret that the economy is kind of wacky right now. It is for me, for you, and everyone else around us. That's the bad news. The good news is that doesn't mean you can't take your vacation! Just like you and me, the travel industry has been hit hard, too. This means that you can still afford your vacation, because the only way the industry can keep it's head above water is to cut prices.
Right now, you'll find hotel prices as much as 40-50% off the normal rates. And, it's not uncommon to get an extra night free in many of them. With a little work, you can find even better deals. If you don't find what you want, don't be afraid to ask for it.
Is there a cruise in your future? There could be. You'll find cruises that start as low as $99 for a one-day cruise, to 5-7 day cruises as much as 50% cheaper than they were a year ago. You can find some fantastic cruises available from most every U.S. port, from New York to Seattle.
Can you leave on a moment's notice? Many cruise lines are offering exceptional rates to those that can take off with short notice. Why? Simple, they want that ship as full as they can get it before it leaves port, even if it means selling cabins at a discount.
If you're lucky enough to be able to pack up and go at the drop of a hat, or even at any day of the week, you'll find some great packages out there. One company offers a "Thank goodness it's Tuesday" package at fantastic savings, while others will often throw up a "One Day Only" special for those that book a Friday cruise.
You can keep up with the latest vacation specials at my website, Blue Light Vacation Specials. The info on the site is updated each time I'm notified of new deals, so you'll want to stop by often. I fully expect that these deals will continue for quite some time, including up to, and through ski season.
You'll find special deals on cruises, vacation rentals, air fare, hotels, car rentals and more.
